The Path

"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to 
destruction, and many enter through it. " ( Matthew 7:13)

       PTF, don’t expect to visually see a highway that say’s this way leads to death and this way takes you to God. The world has nothing good to offer but pain an illusion. Let me tell you the truth of what to expect in this world. You will be tempted, there will be times where you feel the pressures of life because you will have many responsibilities. Responsibilities that pile up on you as you get older. Evil will try to deceive you by painting the world pretty, hoping that you will fall for it.

      If you are stealing, lying, living with hate, cursing, fighting, or doing things that displease God  then you are on the fast track to destruction. This is the wide gate that most people in this world are going through, but why? The reality is that it is easy to do things that are wrong. The narrow gate is a road of honor, self-respect, humbleness, integrity, faith, sacrifice, and a thirst to save souls. PTF, let us not take the easy road to destruction. Let’s take the road to Jesus. You decided the path you are taking, not your mom or dad.  The path to destruction, or the path to Jesus. It is your choice.

New Years

     Are you keeping up with your New Year's resolution? When we set goals for ourselves let’s not forget about them,  we can’t just sweep them under the carpet and act like we never made them.  If we do that  we are just defeating the purpose. Why go out of our way to make them, if we are not going to apply them?

     PTF,  If you haven’t made a New Years resolution it’s not to late to start now. If  you have made a resolution make sure your don’t forget it .  Praying more, not lying, not fighting, and being a better person are some of the many resolution you can make right now. Let’s keep the promises we have made, so we can reap the rewards of our good deeds.

Remember, keeping your promises will not be easy, but that’s why the rewards are so great. Be that person who makes a difference by completing promises you make to yourself and not be that person who just talks  about them.

      Do you wear glasses? I do. When I wear glasses, I see better. I can see without my glasses, but I can’t see the detail in what I’m seeing. When I have my glasses on it’s like I’m seeing in HD. I’m not trying to convince you to go out and buy glasses I’m trying to illustrate to you that you need to see the world  the way God wants you to see it.
       
     God wants us to have eyes like him and when you do, you start to see the world in a new way. Your eyes are open. You can see right from wrong, and even see when temptation is around. Gods amazing power will be shown to you through his eyes. Do you know that God has so many promises for you, like the promise of wisdom the promise that you would be head, and not tale?  PTF, let’s open our eyes to see God’s greatness.
