Soldier's For Christ

PTF, lately we have been talking about being soldiers for Jesus. As you may know being a soldier comes with some ground rules. Rules, that you follow no matter what as a soldier. Being in the army is not for the weak hearted, because you are required to get out of your comfort zone.

Know that not everyone is a soldier for Christ.  Let me explain, by being in God’s army you are required to self sacrifice. Not everyone is willing to give up his or her will. Soldiers hear the voice of their leaders and do what they are told. Spiritually, there is no difference with us, when you hear God’s word, God expects you to do what He is asking, and it doesn’t end there. Fighting for the greater good by saving souls, and keeping our character spiritually fit for God is extremely important as we may be called to battle at any time.

Did you know that the soldiers for the US Army are required to live by certain rules that are vital to serving in the Armed Forces. Let’s take a little time to read up on some of their leader ship rules here are eleven. 1. Bearing 2. Courage (Physical and Moral) 3. Decisiveness 4. Endurance  5. Initiative  6. Integrity  7. Judgment  8. Justice  9. Loyalty  10. Tact  11. Unselfishness

PTF, If that is the U.S military are required to follow those rules what about you? Don’t just say you are a soldier for Christ show it! Your character shows whether you are a real soldier or just a poser. “Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.” (2 Tim 2:3)
