Are you a Leader or a follower?
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but
set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in
faith and in purity.” (1 Timothy 4:12)
If you were to ask anyone around the world, are you a leader or a follower 99.9% of your feed back would be something like, “of course I'm a leader.” The problem with this answer is that everyone would say the same thing, with out thinking or being honest. No one is going to say, I'm weak, and I like following the crowd. There is no gender role to be a leader. A leader is not a afraid to voice his or her opinions. Leaders take charge, they stand out from the crowed. Leaders stand up for weak and show respect to authority, and when they make a mistakes, they are open to learning from there mistakes.
The difference between being a leader and saying you are a leader are obvious. The person who just says, “I’m leader” shows no positive actions to their statements, they say whatever they feel with out thinking, he or she does not respect authority. They are quick to talk back, and instead of leading with a faith and purity, they follow the crowd of disobedience.
PTF, don’t just say you are a leader, just lead. Learn to respect authority, and know that you are growing in the faith, you are still developing, we are always learning. Shine, lead, show your dedication by your testimony. At the end of the day, talk is just talk, it is your actions that show if you lead or you follow. “Even small children are known by their actions, so is their conduct really pure and upright?” (Proverbs 20:11)
